Indian pop also known as Hindi pop refers to pop music produced in India that is different from soundtracks for Indian cinema, Bollywood. Indian pop songs were very popular during 90s but unfortunately as the time passed, they eventually disappeared.
Many of my foreign friends requested me to recommend some Indian pop songs as most of the countries have their respective pop genre like KPOP, JPOP etc. which are quite famous in their respective countries. Currently in India, Bollywood music is usually preferred than album or pop music which might be the reason of decline of Indian pop music.
