Bollywood is the Indian Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai. Bollywood is one of the largest centers of film production in the world.

Bollywood films are primarily musicals, and are expected to have catchy song-and-dance numbers woven into the script. A film's success often depends on the quality of such musical numbers. A film's music and song and dance portions are usually produced first and these are often released before the film itself, increasing its audience.

Apart from the Bollywood movies like 3 idiots, Dangal, Baahubali, Slumdog Millionaire which are the most popular in many foreign countries, I brought you some more of the best and finest movies 20 amazing Bollywood movies from 10 genres which you may have not enjoyed yet!!

1. Wake up Sid!

It is a coming-of-age drama film where a spoilt and selfish college student, learns the meaning of life and the importance of responsibility from an aspiring writer.

2. Namaste London

An Indian man residing in London takes his thoroughly-British daughter to his home country. There, he arranges her marriage to someone she considers a fool. The daughter attempts to outwit them, but the groom quietly and patiently hatches his own plan.

3. Mere baap pehle aap

Gaurav treats his widowed father, Janardhan, with love and care for raising him and his brother single-handedly. However, when he learns about Janardhan's childhood love, he decides to reunite them. An adorable father-son story blended with utmost comedy!!

4. Bajirao Mastaani

Bajirao Mastaani is a real life epic love story the ferocious Maratha General, Bajirao 1 and his second wife, Mastani, a warrior princess and the many obstacles they face. Besides the wonderful story and direction, it is a must watch for exploring the beautiful historical sets in the movie.

Another wonderful movie of Aamir Khan besides 3 idiots and Dangal. Inspector Shekhawat(Aamir Khan) and his wife are stunned when their son dies. 10. Bhoolbhulaiya

The Queen of Jhansi is a biographical account of how Queen Laxmibai waged a war against the East India Company. It chronicles her journey from the place where she grew up(Bithoor) to becoming the Rani of Jhansi, and eventually turning into a warrior Queen.

13. Pari

A kind-hearted man tries to help Rukhsana, a chained woman in a hut who is probably a victim of abuse. However, he soon realises that things are not as they appear to be. It’s one of the horror thrillers which move at its own pace, in its own unique way.

14. Holiday

Virat, a soldier, accidentally bumps into a terrorist who plans to rip apart Mumbai with a series of bomb blasts. He then gathers his team to protect the city from the impending danger.

15. Fashion

Small-town girl Meghna Mathur sets out to fulfil her dream of being a glamourous supermodel. But she soon discovers that in the corrupt world of haute couture, success comes at a price and the true face of glamour world. This movie has received several awards and nominations.

16. Chakde India!

Kabir Khan, a former hockey star, is tainted as someone who betrayed his country. However, he begins coaching the Indian women's national hockey team to prove his loyalty to the nation. An interesting film revealing the colours of sports culture in India.

17. 1920

Story set in the year 1920, Arjun falls in love with Lisa and abandons his family and faith for her. They move to a manor in Palampur but things go wrong when the married couple is surrounded by the unknown and mysterious events.

18. Krrish

Krrish, a young man with superhuman abilities, falls in love with Priya and goes to Singapore to meet her. When he discovers a shocking truth about his father's death, he is forced to use his powers. A sequel to the movie Koi Mil Gaya.

A journalist working for a tabloid frequently visits high society parties and discovers the superficial and dual lives of celebrities and the hypocrisy and insecurities they live with.

20. Mary Kom

When Mary Kom encounters a renowned coach in a boxing gym, she shares her boxing aspirations with him and convinces him to teach her. Despite her father's disapproval, she follows her passion. A sports biopic based on the Olympic Boxing Champion Mary Kom from India.
